Martha Karimi has been a local WorldCoaches instructor in Kenya. She has been involved in the WorldCoaches programme since 2007. After completing the entire WorldCoaches pyramid, Martha is now a highly qualified instructor. Martha travels around the world several times a year to deliver WorldCoaches courses.
In addition to the WorldCoaches courses that she instructs in Kenya and abroad, Martha also runs her own football academy, called ‘Kaguse Academy’. Through this academy she trains other passionate coaches who, when ready, provide training to local youth in the surrounding area of Nairobi.
“As a WorldCoach you must be aware that you are in charge of changing people’s lives. That’s a big responsibility but also a great opportunity. As an instructor we set the example and influence our coaches. This leads to a ‘snowball effect’: if you can change one coach, you can change a thousand kids.” – Martha Karimi
