We have proven solutions for common football development challenges that came out of our innovative ecosystem over the past years. We want to highlight two of these: one focuses on coach development and the second one on youth development.
From the way we look at coach development, as part of our football philosophy, we have developed tools that help coaches to become their best selves. Tools that aren’t just pretty to look at but are a trackable and integrated application for your coach group. This is the reason over 35.000 of all Dutch trainers use Rinus on a daily base.
The Rinus app has won an UEFA Grassroots Award in 2020.
Rinus is named after the legendary football coach Rinus Michels. He’s credited with the invention of a major football playing style and set of tactics known as ‘Total Football’, which is the base of the Dutch vision on football. Famous for its attractive, innovative and attacking style of play, Rinus Michels was named ‘Coach of the 20th Century’ by FIFA in 1999.
It's because of the strong content and design the Rinus app has won an UEFA Grassroots Award in 2020 (being acknowledged by 55 other FA's). The content includes proven methodology based on Dutch principles of football.
Every club, league or federation can access Rinus with all training exercises based on the Dutch principals of football with the possibility to add their own philosophy to it. Therefore, it’s easy to scale this tool internationally and provide it as a white label.

Via the eQuality index the KNVB uses data to know the strength and quality of every grassroots player (1+ million) and team. This index helps us in creating equal leagues for teams, leading to more fun and better player development. After the testing phase we've seen:
