Top representatives of the Ukrainian Football Federation UAF visited the KNVB on Monday. The visit got an inside look at the KNVB Campus and learned how the KNVB strategy was created.
The Ukrainian delegation was accompanied by a number of UEFA representatives during the visit. After a warm welcome, the guests were explained the KNVB strategy. Led by Head of Strategy Ralf Reniers, it was explained how this strategy was developed, how progress is monitored, but also how different departments within the KNVB contribute to it.

The visit included insights into the KNVB's partnership strategy, the marketing strategy and an insight into the digital structure of the football association. There was also a presentation on the use of data management and how innovation is shaped within Dutch football. Furthermore, secretary-general Gijs de Jong dwelt on the difficult situation in Ukraine.
Besides the substantive programme, the visit was given a tour of the KNVB Campus. The second half of the day was spent by the delegation from the Ukrainian Football Association and UEFA to work together on drafting their own strategy.

The visit by the UAF and UEFA is in line with the KNVB's international strategy. As one of the original founders of FIFA, the federation feels responsible for continuing to innovate and develop football. That includes sharing its vision and knowledge with other football associations. Moreover, the visit is seen as valuable because the KNVB also learns from its European colleagues.
