Collaboration Event Reimagine Football on KNVB Campus

On Tuesday the 14th of June the Collaboration Event took place at the KNVB Campus. This is an initiative by the KNVB, AFC Ajax, the Johan Cruyff ArenA, the City Group and UEFA to offer businesses worldwide the opportunity to pitch ideas on how to innovate football.

During this edition businesses were challenged to come up with ideas regarding the following categories:

• Move to Improve
  How can we create healthy digital communities for grassroots football players to challenge themselves to play more football and eat better?
• Champion Learning and Performance
  How can we create an optimal learning environment which supports the process of becoming a high-performing professional athlete?

The jury – consisting of representatives of the parties tied to Reimagine Football – received 50 entries from 15 different countries. Ten companies were selected to pitch their idea to the jury during the event on the KNVB Campus. This led up to the following winners:

3D posture and movement analysis

ShowYourSkills (KNVB)
Exercise platform for sports

StepOut (AFC Ajax)
Performance data gathering from match videos
