The Moldovan Football Federation (FMF) has signed a partnership with the Royal Netherlands Football Federation (KNVB) to use the Dutch coach platform Rinus to support Moldovan coaches.
In Chişinǎu, at the headquarters of the FMF, the five-year-long partnership was signed by represents of the KNVB and Serghei Butelschi (general secretary), Dragoș Hîncu (vice president), Dănuț Oprea (technical director), all leaders and representatives of FMF Departments.
The FMF aims to provide an online tool for all Moldovan coaches
In accordance with its 2020-2024 Strategy, the FMF aims to provide an online tool for all Moldovan coaches. The Rinus platform contains training plans, training sessions and exercises for every age group, based on the principles of Dutch football.
The online platform will also be used to provide coaches with information about how the Moldovan national teams are managed. The coach platform includes several modules about coaching, periodization, injury prevention programs, etc. All the Moldovan clubs will have access to this new platform.
The KNVB realizes the difficult circumstances Moldova is currently facing and hopes the joy of playing the game of football will shed its light in these times.
Rinus Football is the KNVB’s coach platform, currently used in the Netherlands by 50.000 Dutch football coaches.
Rinus Football is named after the legendary football coach Rinus Michels, credited with inventing a style of play known as 'total Football', which is the basis of the Dutch football philosophy. Renowned for his attractive, innovative and offensive style of play, Rinus Michels was named 'Coach of the 20th Century' by FIFA in 1999.
Rinus Football is the KNVB’s coach platform, currently used in the Netherlands by 50.000 Dutch football coaches. It provides a rich library of exercises, training sessions, programs and articles, combined with several smart functionalities such as a drawing tool, calendar and matchmode. The online assistant coach can be used by coaches from grassroots football to the highest level. The platform is fully customizable.
